I always admired my mother collecting beautiful handbags since I was a child, and I started doing the same as soon as I reached college. The idea for the first launch happened during trousseau shopping for my own wedding, when I realized the dearth of beautiful, handcrafted handbags in the style I wanted. So, I decided to launch my own brand that adorned colourful embroideries, laces, pearls, and sequins. That’s how the idea of launching SASHE HOUSE came up.
Being a NIFT graduate, my interest in fashion was pretty natural. After my studies, I got the opportunity to work closely with esteemed designers like Tarun Tahiliani and Ritu Kumar, where I got hands-on experience with the beauty of Indian handicrafts, textiles, embroideries, and their importance in fashion.
As a brand, we believe in drawing from our roots our beautiful culture, vast history, and classic designs supporting artisans and creating something that is both traditional and trendy, something you can look forward to even after years. Each and every product is 100% handcrafted by a team of highly skilled artisans and craftsmen to achieve high standards of finesse, beauty, and quality.
